The APO TV, APO RADIO and YULSA EVENT MANAGEMENT AND CONSULTANCY Organisation has opened nominations for the 2024 edition of its flagship Ghana Brilliance Media Schools Awards.
The awards celebrate the remarkable achievements and contributions of Students in media schools across the country and stand as a beacon of recognition, honoring trailblazers, and empowering visionaries who have made exceptional strides in their respective fields in media.
The President of the organization, Mr. Ulyses Kwadwo Amoako told MyGhanaMedia.com that the event also seeks to recognise and honour the outstanding efforts of student journalists, who have demonstrated excellence, innovation, and resilience in shaping the landscape of media in their schools in Ghana and beyond.
It will also award teachers and CEO’S of media schools.
It would award individuals in the field of journalism and broadcasting to digital media and content creation.
The winners will have the opportunity to have APO RADIO and APO TV build around them. They will win a contract of working with APO RADIO and APO TV for a period of years before departing to another media house.
Mr. Ulyses Kwadwo Amoako said that the GBMS Awards nomination period will close at the end of March.
The window for voting will run from April 1 to May 20.
The organizers have stated that the event day is scheduled for May 25, 2024, however, the venue is yet to be confirmed.
