Mr. Patrick Darkwa Asomaning, also known as “DON POPE,” a contractor, has picked a nomination form to contest the party’s parliamentary primary in the Kade Constituency of the Eastern Region.
He was accompanied by some polling station executives, a campaign team, and some party faithful at the constituency office in Akyem Kade.
Mr. Patrick paid a fee of GH¢3,000 for the forms.
There were cheers from his supporters after he completed the process of picking his nomination form.
In a brief interview with the Daily Searchlight Newspaper, he said he was motivated by the kind of support given to him by the polling station executives, the party faithful, and the youth in the constituency.
Adding their unflinching support is a sign of victory for him in the primary.
He assured the delegates and supporters to do what it takes to increase the NPP votes for Parliamentary and Presidential as far as the agenda breaking the 8-cycle is concerned if given the nod.
He promised the delegates and supporters that he would do everything in his power to boost NPP votes for the presidential and parliamentary elections in order to advance the agenda that would end the eight-cycle if given the nod.
In addition, the campaign chairman for “Don POPE” said they will mobilize to ensure their candidate wins the primary and the general election as well.
