OsisiriKwabrafo Kojo Twumasi Ankrah VIII, Chief of Cherepo has expressed satisfaction of the Pru East District Chief Executive, Mr. Joshua Kwaku Abonkrah on infrastructural achievement, says he is the best DCE for Pru East District than some DECs Who Spend even four(4) years in office.
‘A spade must always be called a spade and not a ‘big spoon’
Without mincing words, these are the exact words of OsisiriKwabrafo Twumasi Ankrah VIII, Chief of Cherepo after he openly admitted that Hon Joshua Kwaku Abonkra in his two year period as district Chief Executive for Pru East has performed relatively better than some DCE’s who even spent up to four years in the previous administrations
He made these categorical statements on Alive FM’s matters arising program with Felix Kwabena Nimako as the host.
Though he has declined to further speak on issues relating to politics but in his view he thinks the district has seen a lot of developmental projects within these few years of his leadership.
I won’t be bias and I don’t speak to impress anyone, when it is blue it must be called blue, he added.
He however said the district needs people of his calibre to take the district to the next level in terms of the speed of development.
Mentioning specifically projects like, the District Assembly block, District Police station, Market stores, Galvanized street lights and many more important projects that are either ongoing or completed.
It is a fact that everyone has some level of challenges but it is imperative to acknowledge the many positives when we find them in people’s work.
The Chief could not have concluded without calling on politicians to remember that their deeds whilst in power whether good or bad would be used against them for their future and as such should always use their opportunities to influence society positively so that they can be remembered for.
He also stressed that politicians of our district should always endeavor to remember Cherepo since the place has a lot of resources and a brighter future to help build the district.
