The Deputy General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party(NPP), Nana Obiri Boahen has said late Jerry John Rawlings need to say sorry to those he hurt before he turn his back.
According to him Jerry John Rawling show some people love and also hurt other people because he is human and he can sin anytime.
He also said Rawlings needed to say sorry to those he hurt them and also those he destroyed their properties in his government because those people are still in pains.
Nana Obiri Boahen further stated that those Rawlings hurt , some will say they will not let it go just because they are still in pains especially for their family ,parent ,friends ,brothers who was in the act of Rawlings treatment and those people are not bad person to say that because they are still in pains if they remember that, and he think if he could say sorry to them, those people will forgive him.
“when you talk of Rawlings issue it will be difficulty to say because some people loves him and others are not, for me am in the middle but I try to loves him,because we all human and we can not be nice to everybody so understand him ,but for people to hurt others and kill other people that one is not good, if it were me he have to say sorry to everyone who he hurt them but he did not and those people are still in pains ”Nana Obiri said
Speaking on Accra-base ‘Okay fm’ concerning the Life of Rawlings he also said some people will said he is my father so I have forgive him and some will take the Ex President Jerry Jhon Rwalings as a hero so is mix filling and it not simple when the history of the country count in the work, but he think he play his role as a president.
“some people will say he brought democracy and if I head them saying it I ask them when was the time he did that because before 6 march 57 we have party like UGCC, Congress Party , CPP” he said.
