The world is now ruled by science and data. Whatever is said must be proven and authenticated. This is the only way to establish the credibility of any notable institution. The New Patriotic Party, as a capitalist organization, has a track record of improving lives and restoring hope among its citizenry in this dispensation where many citizens have lost hope in their political parties.
As we may know, political parties thrive on accounting for every dollar and how it has been used for their people. There must be projects, interventions, and welfare packages to show how their monies have been spent. This we can say for the NPP. This is a party that puts the interests of the country first and develops ways of creating an enabling environment for the youth to thrive.
Despite the economic turbulence across the globe, the party, through its government interventions such as the 1D1F, Free SHS, NABCO, YEA, and PFJ, restored hope and created employment for the many youth who before were unemployed due to the bad governance and management of the economy by the opposition NDC. This government, however, through its road ministry, led by Hon. Amoako Atta, has constructed about 1515 kilometers of road in the Ashanti Region, paving the way for economic activities to run smoothly. Moreover, the government has assiduously worked to bring the economy back to shape, where the cedi is currently appreciating against the dollar, prices of fuel are coming down, and hopefully food prices and transport fares will be reduced as soon as possible to bring some relief to the burden bestowed on us by COVID-19 and the Russian-Ukrainian War.
Going into 2024, our story is simple: we must tender our achievements and communicate our success story thus far. We must ensure that we engage in healthy arguments amongst ourselves and the opposition. We must not entertain disunity, as it is our way to failure. If we are bouncing together, then we have to support the government in every little way we can. If we are going to work together, then we must ensure that we work in unity. If we are going to break the eight, then we must communicate our achievements. As the intellectual base and future leaders of the party, more is expected from us to contribute to our success.
This should be our commitment, without inducement.
