The Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has been urged to call out the government to open some completed government hospitals in the Ashanti Region.

The call was made by US-based Ghanaian vlogger Kevin Taylor who says Otumfuo’s campaign for Komfo Anokye is useless if new hospitals remains closed.

“With all due respect, what has the Otumfuo done about the Afari, Fomena, and Sawua government hospitals that remain closed after started and completed by John Mahama in the Ashanti Region?” Kevin Taylor asked.

“When you go to Asanteman, a government hospital is being destroyed at Afari, the 38 military hospital is there. Otumfuo is not mounting pressure on the government to open it. It is there rotting but he cannot speak out” Kevin Taylor said.

Kevin Taylor said the announcement of fundraising for Komfo Anokye by the Asantehene is misplaced.

“These hospitals were built by NDC for Asanteman. If Otumfuo wants us to pay 200 200 for Komfo Anokye, we should ask him to ask the government what they did with our taxes. He should tell the government to open the Mahama hospitals in the region” He added.

“John Mahama did all these Afari and Sawua and Fomena hospitals and Otumfuo knows but he is not telling the government to open it. Anyone who doesn’t understand what I am saying should go and hand themselves. What can’t Otumfuo tell the Government to open these hospitals.” Kevin Taylor charged.
