The Good Works Of The Npp Deserve Another Victory – Sir John To Ghanaians

Spread the love

One good turn deserves another. is a proverbial expression that means when someone does you a good turn, a good turn done in return is appropriate.

A native of Atwima Nwabiagya Municipal Assembly in the Ashanti Region, a member of the Coalition of MMDCE Aspirants (COMAS) 2020, NPP Regional Medical Team Member, Akuffo Addo’s Government Advocates (AAGA) Member, Ashanti Regional Youth Organiser for NPP Grassroot Supporters Association (NGRASA), and a member of the Patriotic Movement, John Kwame Duodu (SIR JOHN), has said that victory for the NPP in the 2024 elections is a surety regardless of whoever leads the party as flag bearer.

Speaking to the news editor of MyGhanaMedia.com, John Kwame Duodu, who is popularly called Sir John, said the assurance of victory stemmed from the sterling performance of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the NPP in his first term and plans for the second term in office.

There are so many names making the rounds as to who will be leading the NPP into the 2024 elections. Whoever it is, we will be victorious because of the track record that President Akufo-Addo is leaving as a legacy for the party.

“We are surely breaking the so-called eight-year jinx in 2024. Nothing will stop us, “he stated.

Historically, no party has been able to remain in power beyond an eight-year cycle since the beginning of the Fourth Republic, although leadership has rotated between the National Democratic Congress and the New Patriotic Party for the past 28 years.

However, the NPP has declared that it will break that so-called eight-year jinx in 2024.

Sir John said the party would make that history because of the great track record that the Akufo-Addo government had racked up for the NPP so far.

We have fulfilled every single promise we made in opposition—we have established Free SHS, implemented Planting for Food and Jobs, and provided jobs for the youth through NABCO as promised—and there is not a single well-meaning Ghanaian who would want such a resourceful government to leave power. This is why breaking the eight-year jinx will be very easy, “he stated.

He stated that with the introduction of the Planting for Food and Jobs initiative and giving the youth jobs through NABCO as promised, there is not a single well-meaning Ghanaian who would want such a resourceful government to leave power. This is why breaking the eight-year jinx will be very easy, “he stated.

Sir John said students and parents will forever be grateful to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo and NPP for the greatest intervention to hit the education sector in the country’s pre-and post-colonial history.

And other policies implemented by the NPP government since they took over office have transformed the lives of Ghanaians.

As a country, we should pray and support His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo and his administration to deliver on his promises.

My humble plead to constituency, regional and national executives that the break eight will be possible if the internal elections come in 2022 are successful and free from bias and “mafia” work. Ghanaians and the world at large are watching the NPP internal elections starting January 20, 2022 and ending June 30, 2022 to elect party officials. Whatever we do as a party, we must and should put the NPP first, not our own selfish interests.
