An Ashanti Regional Communications Officer of the NDC says they will prosecute President Akufo-Addo if the New Patriotic Party goes to opposition.
The National Democratic Congress’s Abass Nurudeen says even if the President sits in a wheelchair then, God will not forgive the NDC if they spare him.
He says the President and his Vice, together with other persons in the NPP have deceived the whole country on the fight against galamsey.
Speaking on Akoma FM’s GhanAkoma Friday, October 7, 2022, Mr. Nurudeen said the millions of dollars wasted on the menace was a ploy to take people out of the practice and empower people in the NPP to engage in the crime.
He beckoned the accusations that flew between erstwhile Minister of Environment, Innovation and Technology, Prof. Kwabena Frimpong Boateng, and Central Regional 1st Vice Chair of the party, Ekow Ewusi are clear indication that the NPP have taken centre stage in perpetuating the illegal act.
