Legendary Highlife musician Nana Tabiri has expressed his view on who loses his life first in marriage between a man and woman.
Expressing his views, he noted that women take better care of children in marriages than men and therefore if there is anyone to lose his life first in marriage, then, it should be the men and not women.
Speaking on the topic with Actress Martha Joyce (MATJOY) on Oyerepa TV CineFie, Nana Tabiri said” death is a benefit for every human being after enough struggles in life and I fear death because once you are taken, forever you are gone. A teenager who loses his/her life didn’t benefit from death and as we speak, any man whose wife tastes death first in marriage is a witch.
He continued to say” if the woman isn’t a witch or a cheat and performs all her responsibilities as a good wife and still loses her life first in marriage, then the man should be questioned. A rooster doesn’t cater for chicken but hen do and so any man whose wife tastes death first in marriage is a witch.
If not for the behaviors of some women in marriages now, it was a must that men should die first in marriages.
Nana Tabiri, who began his music and cultural career in the early 80s, is credited with songs such as ‘Sɛ Asa’, ‘Apim Abu’, ‘Boaduwaa’, ‘Abrantiwaa’, ‘Obenebene’, ‘Bibi Besi’, ‘Bediako’, and a host of others.
