Popular sports personality, King Kaninja has finally announced his departure from Angel TV, months after being taken off-air.

Nana Kweku Mensah ‘Kaninja’ took to his social media pages today to accept his fate.

He’s claiming, however, that he is leaving on his own and not being sacked.

Kaninja wrote on his facebook page

At this point in time I humbly announce my departure from Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN).

I will like to thank group President and Mentor Dr.Oteng, Madam Akua Amoakowaa, the Executive, Management and the entire staff for their support during my stay.

He went on to apologise to anyone he has wronged during his time there.

If I wronged anyone during my stay am sorry ?and ask for forgiveness. I want people to Judge me by what they saw but not what they Heard.

God’s timing and plan has always been the best and it’s time to move on.

Kaninja married his fellow Angel TV presenter Xandy Kamel in 2020.

Their marriage did not last as Xandy announced their separation last year, claiming her husband was a serial womaniser.

As they battled and insulted each other publicly, Angel TV took both of them off-air.
