After rebranding from Nana Kusi to George Krown in 2021, the Ghanaian UK based contemporary gospel singer released a beautiful piece tilted ‘Onyame Aye Bi’ which is currently doing so well on all the leading digital music stores and also enjoying massive airplay in Ghana.
George is ready to release another masterpiece titled ‘Hope’ in April. As the name suggests, this beautifully written, arranged, delivered and Produced song aims at restoring hope and confidence in his audience so they can stand firm no matter the hardship and tribulation in their journey to greatness.
This time around he teamed up with a Ghanaian sensational singer, Joyce Yeboah to work on this great piece. Full of encouragement and positivity, this song will transform lives and put smiles on the faces of many people who have lost hope and are on the verge of giving up.
The song was recorded and mixed by Papa Owura at Oasis recording studio at Ashongman Estate,Accra.
The singer entered into the music industry about a decade and half ago, he released his first body of work in 2009. The eight track album titled ‘Yesu M’aba’ featured popular minister of God and musician, pastor Joe Bechem on a track on the album titled. ‘Ye Nyame So Adee’ it was one of the biggest songs on the album.
After this beautiful album and other interesting singles, George due to certain reasons best known to him took a break from active music until 2021 that he bounced back with full energy, a new brand and strategies.

George K Obeng formally known on stage as Nana Kusi, after George considering many things in his ministry he decided to rebrand and change his name into GEORGE KROWN, GEORGE KROWN is a Ghanaian gospel music minister based in United Kingdom and visit Ghana every now and then because of his ministry. He is a song writer, composer, recording and a performing artist.
Birth: George Krown was born in the capital town of Ghana (Accra-Achimota) to Mr John Kweku Abebrese (deceased) and Alice Yaa Nyanta both Ashante’s. he had his primary school in Accra and continue in Kumasi the Ashante region of Ghana. He later relocated and he continue schooling in Accra.
George first released a single with a collaboration with with pastor joe Beecham Kingdom where he had the opportunity to study.
Though as an IBM student at Anglia Ruskin University in London, he also a minister of the gospel and deacon of the Church of Pentecost..
He has songs such as “Ye Nyame so Ade” (Meaning, do what is of God) “I’M in Love,” “Nhyira” (meaning, Blessing), “Me Ngyae Ye”, (meaning, do not quite)
