The Chief Imam at Nkaseim in the Asutifi South District of Ahafo Region, Alhaji Usman Mohammed has advised Muslims Youths to desist from Violence and it’s related activities since it tarnishes the image of Islamic religion.
“Violence has nothing to do with Islam, those doing so in the name of Islam, doing it from their own character or what they learnt which does not relate to Islamic doctoring”, those doing so should desist from it, it tarnishes the image of Islam”, he advised.
Speaking to the media at Nkaseim during the Eid – Ul Fitr, Alhaji Usman said Islam means peace and has nothing to do with Violence and appealed to the youth who engage in such act to stop.
He bemoaned how most youths in the Northern part of the Country bear Muslim names but are not Muslims and urges such people not to involve themselves in activities that will disgrace Islamic Region.
