The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu the second has commended the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr George Akuffo Dampare for his exemplary and reformational leadership.
The Asantehene says he has been monitoring Dr. Akuffo Dampare since he assumed office and the kind of leadership he has exhibited so far is worth emulating.
Speaking at the 56th congregation of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and commissioning of a police station at the university, Otumfuo touted the police capo for the good leadership he has shown since assuming office.
“I want to thank my son the IGP who took time to come here. I know he has quite an honours duty all over Ghana. We thank him to bringing those initiatives and changes into the police force. Since he took over I’ve been monitoring him and I know that he is showing leadership,” the Asantehene touted.
Otumfuo added that “I’m sure all his members will follow his footsteps to further improve the police service.”
