The Constituency First Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party for Atwima Nwabiagya South, Mr. John Kwame Duodu, popularly known as “Sir John,” has urged Ghanaians to emulate the acts of Christ towards his crucifixion.

In his Easter message to the Christian community, Sir John said that ‘the life of Christ on earth was full of acts of kindness wherever he ministered, so the best way to honor the Lord God, our Savior, is to emulate his acts of kindness, which would in turn attract an aura of blessings into our lives.

Sir John continued that the biggest act of kindness shown by the Lord Jesus Christ was when He gave up his life to save sinners from destruction and gave humanity access to salvation which should be remembered above all other things during this Easter season.

He pleaded with the financially stable in society to use this period as an opportunity to give back to the less privileged as a sign of resemblance and remembrance of the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ on the Cross for all humankind.

Sir John explained that this act, of kindness towards others, when taken seriously and acted upon, will not only be beneficial to the receiver but most importantly, to the giver since people who give generously are mostly favored spiritually and they keep flourishing, according to the Holy Book.

He emphasized that unconditional giving returns some kind of unlimited blessings to the giver and has a way of helping break any form of barrier in one’s life.

He used the medium to advise all, especially the wealthy in society, to turn their donations toward the homes of the less privileged, most importantly the physically challengedband support them so that the key purpose of the celebration of Easter will be achieved.

Sir John who is also the Ashanti Regional TESCON Patron, wished all Ghanaians, including members of the great Elephant Party and colleagues, a happy Easter and asked God to multiply their blessings and give them fulfillment during and after the Easter season.

He thanked all party members for their efforts, prayers, and well wishes for the Akuffo Addo-Bawumia government. He finally encouraged the Party faithfuls to give back to society this season in remembrance of Christ, as this will command and bestow heavenly blessings upon the Party and it’s “Break the Eight” agenda to retain power during the 2024 elections.
