Tamale City made their home advantage count after beating giants Hearts of Oak at the Aliu Mahama Stadium on Wednesday.
The Ghana Premier League debutants inflicted a convincing 4-1 win over the Phobians in week 28 of the top-flight.
A brace from Sampson Eduku and a goal each from Mohammed Yahaya and Isaac Mensah ensured Tamale City record a sweet victory over the rainbow boys.
Tamale City opened the scoring through in-form Sampson Eduku, who scored from the spot after 17 minutes into the clash.

Eduku, who has been phenomenal for Tamale City this season found the back of the net again to extend his sides lead in the 35th minute mark.

After the break, Mohammed Yahaya scored to make it 3-0 for Tamale City before Victor Aidoo pulled one back for Hearts of Oak.

In additional minutes of the clash, striker Isaac Mensah put the icing on the cake by scoring Tamale Cities fourth goal of the match.

The win sends Tamale City to the 13th position on the league standings with 35 points whiles Hearts of Oak drops to the 6th spot with 42 points after 28 matches.
