Media Fraternity In Kumasi Mourns The Death Of Wontumi Radio’s News Reporter, Amisty

Journalists and others in the media fraternity have expressed shock over the sudden death of Davis Addai, affectionately known as Amisty, News Reporter of Wontumi Radio in Kumasi.

Amisty passed away in the early hours of Wednesday, June 28, 2023, after a short illness, according to a colleague journalist, Kwabena Antwi-Bosiako.

According to Kwabena Antwi-Bosiako  who broke the news to MyGhanaMedia.com chief editor, “He [Amisty] has been down for more than a year due to his leg problem, each and every day the situation gets worse and it has resulted to his early demise”.

Amisty was  previously working with Kumasi-based Kingdom FM  before moving to Wontumi Radio.

The news of his death sent a shock wave across the media fraternity in Kumasi as most of them took to the social media to express shock and sympathy to the bereaved family.
