The Afigya Kwabre South National Democratic Congress (NDC) Constituency Chairman, Dr. Seth Christopher Appiah said it is obvious most people ,especially floating voters are disappointed by the performance of the NPP and get the impression that all parties are the same.
This disappointment in NPP can lead to apathy and disinterest in politics and governance.
Speaking to Akoma news in an interview Dr. Seth Christopher Yaw Appiah said NDC offers a far superior alternative in terms of the quality and breadth of its policies in the Ashanti region which are pragmatic and far reaching as opposed to the populist and opportunistic policies of the NPP.
The NDC cannot be reckless, contemptuous and wasteful as the NPP because we have been in power, and our record is there for all to see, we do not claim perfection, but we in the NDC can never be like NPP.
“We cannot be and are not as reckless and contemptuous of Ghanaians as the NPP has been,we have never been and will not be as wasteful, ostentatious and as imprudent as the NPP has been” The Chairman pointed out.
The NDC had no intention of taking the mandate of the citizenry for granted if the party wins the 2024 elections.
He strongly believes the NDC is better alternative to govern the affairs of the country.
He charged Ghanaians to get on board and work for the desired change.
Meanwhile, the NDC communication officer in Afigya kwabre south constituency *Solomon Kwaku Adomako* has urged the party members to rally on peace and avoid political polarisation ahead of the 2024 general elections.
Mr. Solomon Adomako called on all the leaders and floating voters in the party to shun I’ll politics and supremacy war for the unity of the constituency.
He said NDC offers a far superior alternative in terms of the quality and breadth of its policies which are pragmatic and far reaching as opposed to the populist and opportunistic policies of the NPP.
