Lack Of Dancing Facilities In Kumasi Killing Our Career – Allo Maadjoa Cries

Spread the love

Veteran Ghanaian dancer Allo Maadjoa has expressed some of the challenges the creative arts, specifically dancers, are facing in Kumasi.

Allo Maadjoa, who has been a significant figure in the dance industry for years, shared his sentiments about the stress and agony they go through when they need a venue or facility for a rehearsal or video shoot in Kumasi.

Speaking on the challenges the dancing fraternity is facing with Agoropapa, the host of Ezra FM Entertainment Arena, he said, I think one thing we are lacking now is an auditorium to convene classes for people to come to our camp to groom their talent. Especially in Kumasi, getting a place for a free dancing class is even a problem, so I think the government should pay a little bit of attention to dancers in Ghana because our dancing career is also putting Ghana on the global map.

He continued to say that recently, Afronitaa and Abigail were booming all over the world with their BGT performances, and fortunately, they went by the name Ghana. So the government should support the dancing fraternity with facilities.

He also said that the cost of data bundles in Ghana is too expensive, and people thinking about how to find something to feed the family and their upkeep don’t see it as necessary to buy expensive data to watch videos; they aren’t going to benefit from it.

He urges the government to reduce taxes on TELCOS so that they can also reduce the cost of their data services to enable citizens to get enough access to watch videos from the creative arts in Ghana.
