A staunch member of the opposition NDC and also the Ashanti regional Zongo Caucus treasurer, Alhaji Osman Amhed has urged the police to stop intimidating aggrieved NDC supporters who feel cheated and are demonstrating peacefully.

According to him allowing them to express their rights is the only way through which peace can prevail should the country want it so. “Intimidating them like they’re enemies will escalate things. Meanwhile, they feel cheated and are demonstrating for their right”, he said.
