Record of Excellence: Let’s Remember The Great Policies Of The NPP And Vote Massively For Bawumia – Edmund Kyei Tells Ghanaians

Edmund Kyei, former NPP Asokwa Parliamentary Candidate aspirant and member of the NPP National Communications Team, has urged Ghanaians to recognize the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) outstanding policies and vote massively for the party’s flagbearer, Dr. Mahmud Bawumia in the upcoming elections.

He argues that the two main political parties in Ghana would compete fairly in the presidential general election, with each running on the basis of their prior performance so that Ghanaians can choose the candidate they believe has the greatest potential to govern the nation.

He says that while both parties have been able to provide social amenities like roads, hospitals, schools, etc. over the years, the NPP stands out because it is the only political party that has not only provided social amenities to Ghanaians but additionally pushed ahead and implemented social policies that the NDC is unable to claim as their own.

Mr. Kyei claims that the NDC is also well-known for its criticism of the excellent social initiatives of the NPP and its determination to overthrow them if it seizes political power after the NPP implements them.

He appealed to Ghanaians to consider Bawumia’s vision and the NPP’s achievements, voting massively for him to ensure the continuation of these policies and the introduction of new initiatives like free tertiary education for people with disabilities.

“I plead with Ghanaians to consider the great Prez Akufo Addo and Veep Bawumia great policies like free education, digitalization, teacher and nursing trainee allowances, 1 District 1 factory, agenda 111 which seeks to build many hospitals, DRIP initiative, planting for food and jobs and the many great NPP policies and vote massively for H.E Dr Mahmud Bawumia for a smooth continuation of these great policies and an introduction of new great social policies like free tertiary education for the disable and many great policies in the NPP manifesto”.

LET’S REMEMBER THE GREAT POLICIES OF THE NPP AND VOTE MASSIVELY FOR BAWUMIA – EDMUND KYEI
Since the introduction of Democratic rule in 1992, the NPP and the NDC have had almost equal sixteen (16) year rule. The NDC began it’s administration under the leader of H.E Fmr. Prez Rawlings who ruled for eight(8) years. H.E. Fmr Prez Kuffuor had his eight-year rule. H.E Fmr Prez Mills and Fmr Prez Mahama also had their eight(8) year, four yesterday under Prez Mills and four years under Prez Mahama. H.E President Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo who is almost in his eight year administration makes it an equal sixteen years administration for both NPP and NDC administrations since 1992.
Elections 2024 is classified as the fair playground for the two major Political parties in Ghana, each will campaign on their past records for Ghanaians to decide who is best fit to lead this country. I accept that both parties over the years have been able to provide social amenities like roads, hospitals, schools, etc but the NPP stands tall since it’s the only political party that didn’t provide Ghanaians with only social amenities and went ahead to also provide social policies which the NDC can’t attribute one policy to themselves. The NDC is also known for criticizing the great NPP social policies and also doing everything within their strength to destroy these policies when they gain political power after the NPP implements them.
Social policies like the National Health Insurance scheme came under attack from the NDC and the then NDC Members of Parliament led by Fmr. Prez Mahama who was Member of Parliament for Bole Bamboi then boycotted parliament when the Prez.Kuffuor-led administration brought it to Parliament for the bill supporting NHIS to be passed. Under the administration of Prez Mills and H.E John Mahama, they did everything to destroy the NHIS through the introduction of capitation, cancellation of free maternal care and failure to pay NHIS providers. When Prez. Akufo Addo was campaigning to introduce free SHS, and the NDC sponsored over 20 adverts against this policy, today they are campaigning to reset free education which it’s clear the NHIS harm they caused will be done to free education when the unlikely happens.
I plead with Ghanaians to consider the great Prez Akufo Addo and Veep Bawumia’s great policies like free education, digitalization, teacher and nursing trainee allowances, 1 District 1 factory, agenda 111 which seeks to build many hospitals, DRIP initiative, planting for food and jobs and the many great NPP policies and vote massively for H.E Dr Mahmud Bawumia for a smooth continuation of these great policies and an introduction of new great social policies like free tertiary education for the disable and many great policies in the NPP manifesto.
