On NPP’s Defeat in the 2024 elections
He expressed regret over the NPP’s loss in the 2024 polls, acknowledging the setback but emphasizing the need for the party to regroup and work towards a common goal.
He urged the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to unite and focus on returning to power in 2028. He also stressed the importance of responsible communication among Ghanaians, promoting constructive criticism and a focus on solutions rather than negativity.
Sir John’s message comes as Ghana transitions to a new government, with President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo handing over power to President John Mahama on January 7, 2025.
