The Administrator of Royal Ann College, Mr. John Kwame Duodu, popularly known as Sir John, has been honoured at an official ceremony of the Ghana Tertiary Prestigious Awards (GTPA2021) at the Wisconsin International University College in Accra for his contribution to the development and progress of tertiary education in his area, the Ashanti and Ghana as a whole.
In a citation, the group acknowledged the member of the Coalition of MMDCE Aspirant (COMAS) 2020, NPP Regional Medical Team Member, Akuffo Addo’s Government Advocates (AAGA) Member, Ashanti Regional Youth Organiser for NPP Grassroot Supporters Association (NGRASA), and a member of the Patriotic Movement, for showing an exemplary commitment to the wellbeing of the people of Ghana.
He was recognised for the numerous development and humanitarian initiatives he undertook to better the lives of his people.
The Award was received on behalf of Sir John by Mr Lord Affaul
Reading out the content of the citation to Mr. John Kwame Duodu, the leader of the organisers of Ghana Tertiary Prestigious Awards under the auspices of BAIDs Event Management , smith Ebenezer Baido said the administrator of Royal Ann College had empowered people who had less education.
He noted that Sir John had with great commitment shown to have the interest of the under-privileged at heart.
APPRECIATION
Speaking to this reporter after receiving the award, Mr. John Kwame Duodu (Sir John) said he was grateful for the honor done to him.
He said the organizers had shown they were monitoring the little contributions he was making to make the lives of people better.
The development expert said it is more blessed to give than to receive, adding that he was committed to doing his best for society anytime he has an opportunity.
Sir John urged other members of the public who are well to do so to ensure they support the needy in society when they get the chance.
