Mahama’s legal Team Creating Media Display To Make Him More Popular For 2024 Race – Oppong Nkrumah

Former Information minster and also one of the spokespersons for the President of Ghana in the 2020 election petition ,Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has said that Jhon Dramani Mahama legal team seeks to delay the court process by creating a media display.

According to Kojo Oppong in an interview with the medial he indicate that the position of National Democratic Congress (NDC) is just to create a media spectacle to win sympathy of Ghanaians and NDC member.

Former president John Dramani Mahama is using the ongoing election petition to remain relevant in the NDC and in the public space so as to contest in the next presidential polls Kojo Oppong said it.

“We are of the view that these are just efforts to delay what C.I. 99 sets out clearly, that there must be justice and it must be done expeditiously. Nobody is short circuiting the process. Said by Oppong Nkrumah

 

“They are looking for a media spectacle so that Mr Mahama can remain very relevant in the NDC and in the public space and run again in 2024. That is all they are looking for,” he said, in response to why the petitioners will want a protracted process.
