NSA Gives Update On Renovations Work At Kumasi Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Peter twumasi national sports authority Boss gives update on the ongoing works at the Baba yara sports stadium in Kumasi.

 

Speaking with Kumasi base sikka fm sports, Mr Twumasi said at the end of the month of November there were  alot of works which was ongoing and most of the work is almost completed such as  the wash room which are convertible, the score board is fixed, the flood lights which are led which save 75% power are been fixed . Whiles the pipes are also fixed left with planting of the grass on the pitch which by the end of December the renovations works will be done .

Mr Twumasi also emphasize on why Kumasi Asante kotoko chose the Accra sports stadium as it’s done venue. He said it is through the renovations works on going at the Baba yara sports stadium which led the kotoko management choose the Accra sports stadium as it home venue and the national sports authority (NSA) told the Ghana football to let other clubs use the Aliu mahama sports stadium in tamale because the grass on the pitch is different from other pitches.

Mr. Twumasi said kotoko will soon return to the Baba yara sports stadium by the close of this year . So they should use the Accra sports stadium if they want to use tamale Aliu mahama sports stadium they should write to the national sports authority for approval.
