The President and Founder of Market Bawumia’s Achievement (MBA) has responded to comments made by Hon Yaw Buabeng Asamoah, a former Communications Director of the NPP and a spokesperson of Hon Alan Kyeremateng’s team, over recent comments he made when they met a section of delegates in the greater Accra region.

In a jab to Dr. Bawumia, Mr. Buaben Asamoah requested the Vice President to show receipts of his support for the NPP for everyone to ascertain his commitment to the party.

But in a recent reply to Mr. Buaben Asamoah, the President of MBA, Mr. Albert Mensah made it clear that Dr. Bawumia does not need a receipt to indicate his tremendous support for the party.

He indicated that delegates would do the needful by replicating the many sacrifices he made for the party when there were none to do so.

Dr. Bawumia doesn’t need to show receipts of his support to the party for any reason, but delegates will show it with their thumbs during the Primaries, he added.

When the NPP party started requesting receipts from candidates before any Parliamentary or Presidential election, the group leader quizzed

Nothing is stopping an overwhelming endorsement from all delegates across the nation in selecting the vibrant Vice President and making him the obvious flagbearer towards the agenda of breaking the eight for the NPP.

Dr. Bawumia is undistracted by comments of this nature but focused until he is crowned the leader of the party, he stressed.
