Accessing Education Is A Must Current Generation – David Ujan Ndoma III

The chief of Konkomba,David Ujan Ndoma III of Ejura Traditional Council under under the able leadership Barima Osei Hwedie(Ejura Hene) and Nana Akua Tiwaa(Ejura Hemaa) celebrated two years anniversary.

According to Ujan Ndoma III education is one of the important element needed by Konkomba’s to improve the quality of life that they want as people,as their fundamental human right which ought not to take for granted.   David Ujan Ndoma III,the chief of Konkomba in the Ejura Sekyedumase municipality said accessing education is a must for current generation,because in Ghanaian are facing numerous challenges that mostly threaten the prosperity of most vulnerable people and their societies.

 

 

 

He said Konkomba as a people and their societies have not been exempted from education challenges. He further stated that, it is unfortunate and heartbreaking to see that their people are mostly exploited in various forms by forces that have their individual,parochial interest,and added that some of the challenges are lack of access to quality health care in their communities,unemployment,inequality etc.

 

 

 

The chief of Konkomba in Ejura concluded that, in the past people without formal education could enter most job markets without any education or training to do menial jobs,but now,the fourth industrial revolution is changing the status quo, and therefore,they must strive to make conscious effort to prevent a situation where there will be no jobs for the youth,because they are not well educated enough in the skills that matter for this century and it could be pose serious threats not only to their security as a people,but their way of life.
