CEO of Rich Drop Natural Mineral Water Donates To Akyem Aboabo Health Center On His Birthday

The Akyem Aboabo Health Centre in the Birim Central Municipality of the Eastern Region has received medical supplies and equipment valued at thousands of cedis from Mr. Patrick Owusu, the Chief Executive Officer of Rich Drop Natural Mineral Water and Rich Electricals.

The donation was part of activities to mark his birthday, which fell on December 14th, 2023.

 

 

 

Syringes, gloves, diabetes strips, typhoid and syphilis antibody tests, malaria test lats, hepatitis B antibody test kits, cotton, and bandages are among the donated equipment.

Mr. Patrick Owusu, accompanied by his secretary and wife, presented the items.

 

 

In an interview with the media, he stated that the gesture was motivated by his strong desire to give back to society.

He remarked that God had been nice to him and his family by giving them good health and a long life, so it was only right that he supported the Health Center so that others could receive high-quality medical care.

 

 

 

To guarantee that Ghanaians received high-quality healthcare, he pleaded with other organizations and individuals to help in providing medicines, medical equipment, and other related accessories to support various health facilities across the country to ensure that Ghanaians benefited from quality healthcare.

He continued by saying that he had previously similarly given on his birthday.

He charged members of staff of the facility to take care of the equipment with great care, stressing that the lack of maintenance culture in the country had contributed to a lot of resources going down the drain.

In an effort to provide access to healthcare, Mr. Patrick Owusu also extended a free national health insurance card renewal exercise to a total of sixty people in the Akyem Aboabo electoral area.

He also urged the management of the health facility to get in touch with him at any time if they required help in any way.

 

Admiration

A Physician Assistant of the Health Center, Ms. Agyekum Vida, who received the items on behalf of the facility Management said the equipment had come at the right time because the Akyem Aboabo Health Center was in dire need of those items.

She stated that the items would go a long way to help the facility provide effective health care to patients who patronized the Health Center.

He commended the donor for their kind gesture and urged other public-spirited individuals and organizations to emulate the gesture

On his part, the Assembly Member for the Akyem Aboabo electoral area, Hon. Emmanuel Appiah-Kubi, also sent his sincere gratitude to Mr. Patrick for the kind gesture.

 

 

“We thank the Chief Executive Officer of Rich Drop Natural Mineral Water and Rich Electrical for this gesture and we are highly impressed with the donation. The equipment donated will improve health care delivery in the facility” he stated.
