The assembly and unit committee elections in some electoral areas in the Ashanti and Eastern regions have been canceled and rescheduled for Thursday, December 21, 2023, according to information acquired by MyGhanaMedia.com.

The cancellation was a result of inadequate ballot papers, the EC stated in its statement.

“The Commission wishes to inform the general public that due to a number of technical challenges, the District Level Election in some Electoral Areas in the Ashanti and Eastern regions have been rescheduled to Thursday, 21st December 2023”.
