Video: We Have Competent Men And Women, But Our Governance Is Based On Area Boys – NPP MP

Mr. Eugene Boakye Antwi, the Member of Parliament for the New Patriotic Party’s Subin Constituency in the Ashanti region, has criticized both the past and present governments for failing to appoint qualified individuals to lead the nation.

He is of the opinion that although the NPP possesses competent men and women, he feels that President Akufo Addo is using area boys in his administration.

“We know we have the men and women, but the men are not being deployed, yes, and it’s a fact”, he insisted.

The former Deputy Minister for Works and Housing said, “Mahama made fun of us, and it was accurate when he remarked, We have the men, but we have area boys.”

Every party has competent members, he continued, but they never get an opportunity to serve when their party gains power.

According to the MP, the ‘we have the men’ issues are in all the governments and not only the NPP government.
