The Big Debate: NPP Has Disappointed Atwima Kwanwoma District – Residents Reveal

Spread the love

Residents and some chiefs of Atwima Kwanwoma District in the Ashanti Region have said the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has failed to deliver in the district.

“The NPP has disappointed the people of Atwima Kwanwoma. Even in power, they have done nothing, and so a vote for the NDC will ensure that lives are improved in the constituency,” they said.

Based on the shambolic performance of the NPP, some of the aggrieved residents who said they have voted for the NPP since 1992 have called on the constituents to give the NDC a chance to serve and strive to address their needs.

They made this known during a clean-up exercise organised by the NDC constituency chairman and their parliamentary candidate today.

Pledging to prioritise essential services such as good drinking water, job creation, schools, and others, the parliamentary candidate for the NDC, Madam Grace Asamoah Agyemang, said all hope is not lost and urged them to vote massively for the NDC.

She also vowed to lobby for good roads and implement initiatives beneficial to local farmers.

Expressing a commitment to inclusivity, Madam Grace Asamoah criticised the NPP’s alleged favouritism and pledged to ensure equitable opportunities for all constituents.

Disclosing specific achievements of the NDC in the constituency, the constituency chairman, Mr. Simon Alonga, mentioned the construction of SHS at Kwanwoma Community and several significant educational advancements made.

He also pointed out notable improvements in healthcare services in the area.

Mr. Alonga expressed confidence in unseating the current member of Parliament who doubles as deputy defence minister, Hon. Amankwa Manu, in the upcoming 2024 elections.
