Ghana Water Limited Suspends November 2024 Recruitments

The Ghana Water Limited (GWL) has suspended all recruitments made in November 2024, following a directive from the Chief of Staff ordering the nullification of such appointments.Eco-friendly travel packages

This decision aligns with an earlier instruction issued to all heads of government institutions to immediately annul recruitments made after December 7, 2024, citing non-compliance with good governance practices and principles. A comprehensive report on the actions taken must be submitted by February 17, 2025.

A confidential letter confirms that the directive has been communicated to all relevant government institutions.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, February 11, GWL specifically instructed that all recruits appointed in November 2024 and posted to various regions—but not yet added to the payroll as of January 2025—be suspended.

The management emphasized that this measure is necessary to allow for a thorough assessment and audit of the recruitment process.
