A/R: Bosome Freho DCE Exposed In Galasey Fight (Audio + Photos)

The District chief executive of Bosome Freho District of the Ashanti region Hon Yaw Danso has been exposed in the attempt by government to end illegal mining.
According to report the DCE is highly involved in illigal mining even after strong warnings from the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo_Addo that all mining activities in the forest and rivers must cease forthwith.

 

 

Some Residents at Minti, Apantubuom, and Bobiam revealed this to our reporter after the DCE in an interview bragged that he has ended galamsey at the area. According to the residents at the area, he DCE granted an interview to an FM station claiming that he as burnt some excavators within the district which they described it as lies.

According to resident who spoke with AKOMA FM NEWS ,The DCE of Bosome Freho District is having four (4) Excavators which is currently working at MINTI which is in the forest reserved for farming community in the area.Speaking to the fact behind his activity they allegedly mentioned one Bismark Ofosu Asare is manning them on behalf of the DCE.
Communities like Anyinase, Anyanso, Menti, Bobiam and it’s environs are noted for galamsey activities at night.

 

“The DCE has deliberately given this four (4) Excavators to Bismark Ofosu Asare to work at MINTI, Bobiam and Apantubuom which they only use it in the night hours and stop operation during the day.
The DCE cannot burn any excavator because he is involved in the activity here.

 

He is only throwing dust in the eyes of the public and the Government operatives. And also to deceive the President to reappoint him as DCE” The residents cried.
“We are rather pleading with the President to as matter of urgency remove Hon. Yaw Danso with immediate effect as he is flouting the rules of the Government with impunity which is making the people loose confidence in the Gonernment”s fight against illegal mining”. They added.

 

 

Some members of the party at the district complaint bitterly since his attitude is having a toll on the party.
According to them the DCE’ s working relationship with staff at the assembly including Assembly members and some party executives is very bad as he has fallen out with some of them including his personal secretary Roberta Djikunu, who was beaten by the DCE at his office.

He is alleged to have fought with them in attempt to admonish him on issues related to galamsey at the area.
The chairman for the constituency Yaw Attakora Amaniampong was also mentioned as an accomplice to the DCE who was described Kingpin in galamsey at Bosome Freho.
