A/R: Stop Harassing Us With Bodyguards – Independent Parliamentary Candidate Cries Out.

The Independent Parliamentary candidate for Atwima Nwabiagya south constituency in the Ashanti Region, Elder. Dr.  Anthony Willie Nantwi is worried over Bodyguards harassment in his constituency during their  rallies. According to the Independent candidate’s spoke person, Mr Forster Okyere said to myghanamedia.com that, anytime they go on grounds for camping or  rallies with  Npp T- shirt or Nana Addo’s T-shirt, unknown bodyguards  attack them which they believe is an initiative of the incumbent Member Of Parliament.  

“The incumbent Member of Parliament, Mr. Emmanuel Adjei Anhwere has done nothing for people in the  Atwima Nwabiagya South constituency since he resumed office and that is why we the electorates in this Constituency have decided to vote against him in the general elections come December 7”.

 “We appreciate the good works of our President of the Republic for all the social intervention programs he implemented, but our Member of Parliament has totally disappointed us in terms of lobbying for developmental projects for the Constituency, some of the electorates lamented to the Press”.

Meanwhile the  parliamentary candidate for Atwima Nwabiagya south, Dr Willie Anthony Nantwi says, the intimidation from the incumbent Member of Parliament will not have any negative impact on their  rallies.

 He  also revealed that, some  supporters of the incumbent MP have tagged him as an NDC member because he is contesting the seat against the Incumbent . He emphatically stated that, he supports Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo and not the NDC as some supporters of the incumbent MP claim. He said this is the time Atwima Nwabiagya constituency need development . He therefore urged everybody to vote for Nana Addo and vote for Dr Willie for development.

Ending, he adviced the youth to desist from violence during  December 2020 election because he stands for peace.
