Agyapa Royalty Limited, Educate Ghanaians on the deal – Mr Amankwaa to Government.

The founder and president of Citizen Watch Alliance (CiWA) and an Anti-Corruption campaigner Mr Amankwaa Nathaniel has charged government to educate Ghanaians on the reasons and purpose behind the establishment of Agyapa Royalty Limited. 

According to him, Most Ghanaians got to know of the Agyapa deal after it was alleged the limited has breached the  procurement Act to make payment of ($2M) Two million dollars to Data Bank and Africa Legal Associates as their local financial and Legal advisor and the recent resignation of the special prosecuter on the same deal.

The Anti-Corruption campaigner has emphasized that, lack of Communication between government and the Nationals is one of the reasons some Ghanaians believe what ever they hear about the government with regards to corruption and other pressing issues which needs to be addressed properly to their understanding.

He said that, the Agyapa deal particularly needs to be explain to Ghanaians to seek their consent because our natural resources is been use to leverage our assets for many years.

Moreover, he said government should make every transactions in the ongoing Agyapa deal transparent and legal to restore the value of incorruptible Ghanaians have on President Akuffo Addo.
