E/R: Paul Asamoah Confirmed As DCE With 100% Votes

Assembly Members of the Akyemansa District Assembly in the Eastern Region have confirmed the president’s nominee, Hon Paul Asamoah as the District Chief Executive.

The assembly members, at an election to approve or reject the nominee on Monday , September 27, 2021, gave Hon Paul Asamoah the adequate number of votes to get him approved.

Out of the 36 assembly members both elected and appointed who voted, thirty five (35)voted YES  while one was absent(1)

Nominees are expected to get at least two-thirds ( 2/3 )of the total votes cast to be confirmed.
