E/R: Birim South DCE Confirmed, Secures 100% Victory

Mr. Asare Danso, the presidential nominee for the position of District Chief Executive (DCE) for Birim South District Assembly in the Eastern Region has been confirmed as the DCE for the area for the second term.

 

The 17 assembly members present duly voted to confirm his nomination by giving him 100 per cent of votes.

 

 

 

In his acceptance speech, Mr. Asare Danso, a former tutor of Akim Swedru Senior High School expressed his gratitude to the President for the opportunity given to him to serve his people.

 

 

He also thanked the assembly members for the overwhelming endorsement and promised to work hard with them to justify the trust they have in him.

 

The Eastern Regional Minister, Seth Acheampong,  after the EC Declaration advised the DCE to work hard to improve upon the development in the area.

 

He also thanked the assembly members for confirming Hon. Asare Danso on touch.

 

 

 

Mr. Asare Danso was nominated in 2017 by President Akufo-Addo as the DCE for the area.
