The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Nkwanta North, Williams Kidignam has appealed to investors to come and make good use of crops and livestock in the district to create more jobs for his youth and to support government 1D1F program.
Addressing this year’s 37th farmers day celebration in Nkwanta North held at Nyamebua, Hon Williams said the challenges in the district is unemployment and how to process their farm goods to be attractive to meet post COVID marketing for farmers and the district. He said government with him as the DCE are ever ready to support any company that comes to invest in the district.
The DCE stated that, the raw materials if processed will creat more jobs in the agriculture industry and also serves as opportunities to farmers and to reduce the rate at which the youth travels to Accra for greener pastures.

“We are noted for the growing of Yam and Cassava on large scale vegetables as well as many other food crops and the rearing of animals and it is not surprising that government has promised to continue investments into the Agric sector so as to create spaces of employment for the youth”
He therefore advice fisherfolks not to sell their pre-mix fuels to business men, the MCE noted that most fisherfolks are making the government of the day bitter to the community by selling fuels given to them by government.
Mr Nlaliban Wujangi, the CEO for *Agriculture and more Limited* commenced the DCE for the opportunity given to them and the promised he made to support investors and young entrepreneurs.
He said their challenge is not mostly on raw materials but on the high rate of fuel increment.
Mr Wujangi said his entity will very soon establish and settle in the Nkwanta north to make good use of the raw materials available.
