Deputy Minority Leader Position: Confidence Reposed In The Western Part – Dr. Clement Clinton Blay

The Chief Executive officer for Shaip Africa Foundation, Dr. Clement Clinton Blay says the leadership of the National Democratic Congress has reposed their confidence in the Western part of Ghana because of the appointment of Hon Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah as the New deputy minority leader.

According to Dr. Blay, the glory affirm the significant role the Western NDC Members have played for the party.

He has congratulated Hon. Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah on his appointment  as the deputy minority leader of the Ghanaian Parliament.

Dr. Clement C. Blay who is a staunch member of the NDC in Ellembelle district described Armah Buah’s appointment as a reward for the people of Ellembele which should be seen honoured.
The Member of Parliament for Ellembelle replaced James Avedzi Klutse, Ketu North MP as the deputy leader of the party in Parliament.

According to leadership of the NDC, the reason for the reshuffle of the leadership of the minority group is to help re-strategise to win the upcoming election in 2024.

Armah Buah who is touted as “Ellembele Mugabe” has been the member of parliament for the Ellembele Constituency since 2009.

Mr. Clement Clinton Blay reacting to the new appointment, he believes the support base of the NDC party in western region will increase because the appointment of Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah will motivate the grassroot to campaign for the party.

“It’s our fervent hope that the number of parliamentary seats will be increased come the 2024 elections. This will energize the teeming party supporters across the Western part to work assiduously to ensure victory for the NDC” he stated.

According to the statement signed by the Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Clement Blay, the Ellembele MP portrays a distinguished array of sons of the Western Region, who have brought honour to the region and Ellembele through his fast rising to various high political positions.

To this end, he has sincerely write to congratulate Hon. Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah, Member Of parliament for Ellembele constituency for his appointment as the deputy Minority leader of the 8th parliament of the Republic of Ghana.


Dr. C. Blay expressed that people of Ellembele constituency are happy for the recognition conferred by the party leadership and will continue to hold up the title any day.
