The Vice-President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, on Friday (3 December) left Accra for Guyana on a three-day official visit.
Whilst in Guyana, Vice-President Dr. Bawumia will conduct a series of meetings leading to the signing of mutually-beneficial development agreements between the governments of Ghana and Guyana.
“The Vice-President is accompanied by some government officials,” a statement from his office said.
He is expected to return to Accra on Wednesday 8 December 2021.
It will be recalled that in mid-October, the vice-president of Guyana, Bharrat Jagdeo, visited the West African country and had bilateral talks with Dr Bawumia at the Jubilee House.
During his three-day working visit to Ghana (15–17 October), the vice-president of Guyana took part in a technical meeting between members of his delegation and their Ghanaian counterparts at the Petroleum Commission.
