The Ghana Drunkards Association has disassociated itself from the conduct of a police officer who appeared drunk in a viral social media video, but have called on the police administration to subject the officer to emotional scrutiny.

Though the Drunkards Association identify the police officer as a member, they deem his conduct “unprofessional”.

A statement signed by the president of the association, Moses Onyah aka Dry Bone, observed that there must have been something wrong with the police officer.

“We will like the Police administration not to hasty to conclude and take disciplinary action, but rather scrutinize the officer in question emotionally. We believe strongly there are reasons that led to such unprofessional conduct” parts of the statement reads.

They have also assured their “our members and admirers to relax as we are having behind closed door meeting with Police Administration to temper justice with mercy”.
