Finance Ministry: No Freeze On Security Recruitment

The finance ministry says reports making rounds that security agencies have been asked to halt ongoing recruitment due to lack of funds are fake.

The Ministry of Finance on Tuesday rubbished media reports that the various security agencies in the country have been ordered to put on hold recruitment due to lack of funds.

“The ministry hereby informs stakeholders and the general public that, the said letter is fake and should be disregarded,” the statement said.

“We entreat all Ghanaians to disregard the letter in its entirety as it smacks of an attempt by unscrupulous persons to create mischief.”
