Government Must Consider To Established Rehabilitation Centers To Expatiate Drug Abuse Education – Mad. Lydia Abena

The Chief executive officer CEO of Willing Foundation Ghana, Mad.Lydia Abena Manu has appeal to government to establish rehabilitation centers at least every region to expiate the drug abuse Education in the country.

 

According to her, Drug substance has been use of a certain chemicals for the purpose of creating pleasurable effects on the brain.”There are over 190 million drug users around the world and the problem has been increasing at alarming rates, especially among young adults under the age of 30.

 

 

She therefore said,over fifty (50) cases of drugs abuse are been recorded every month and has pleaded to government to build rehabilitation centers in all the regions
Major of them are youths and it is getting them into madness.

 

 

There’s nothing pertinent of taking drugs in the body so I will admonish everyone to resist from such act .

 

 

She made this remarks when speaking at a forum with stakeholders on draft Drug abuse at Obuasi Government hospital.

 

 

 

Meanwhile,Medical superintendent of Obuasi Government hospital Dr.Kwadwo Nyarko Gyasi said, youth who are into drug abuse must put a stop to it and has pledge to continue Drug abuse Education in the various health institution.
