Berekum Chelsea put up an impressive fight on Wednesday afternoon to come from behind to beat Kotoku Royals 2-1 in the Ghana Premier League.
The two teams locked horns at Golden City Park in a Week 28 encounter of the ongoing league campaign today.
Following a very good start for relegation-threatened Kotoku Royals, the team took a surprise lead in the 13th minute.
A good piece of play was finished off by Mohammed Zakari who scored with a fine effort to give the away team the advantage.
While Kotoku Royals would hold onto the lead until the first half, the team could not do the same in the second half.
Just three minutes after recess, Kalou Ouattara equalized to restore parity for Berekum Chelsea.
Thanks to a late goal from Berekum Chelsea in injury time, the hosts cruised to a 2-1 win to secure the maximum three points.
The win has sent the Blues to 4th on the Ghana Premier League table with Kotoku Royals stuck at the bottom of the league table.
