Health Ministry Begs Mortuary Workers Over Intended Strike

Spread the love

The Public Relations Officer(PRO) for the Ministry of Health, Isaac Offei Baah has pleaded with mortuary attendants across the country to rescind their decision to embark on a strike.

According to him, the government is dealing with concerns they raised and therefore it will be imperative that they come to the table for a discussion.

He says efforts have been made to reach their leadership, but it has proven futile.

“They should rescind their decision to strike. The issues they raised are being worked on. We’ve been trying our best to get them to come to the table to no avail. They will be surprised what we are doing to make their work better. We are pleading with them to rescind their decision and come to the table to have a discussion,” he said on Accra-based OKAY FM.
