Kumasi: 3 Persons Burnt To Death , One Escapes Unhurt After Fire Razes Down Three-bedroom House At Ohwim

Three (3) persons have been burnt to death with one escaping unhurt after a three-bedroom house was razed down by fire at Ohwim Asore Nkwanta in Kumasi.

 

Two (2) fire pumps from Komfo Anokye and Breman Fire Stations were mobilised to the fire scene at Ohwim Asore-Nkwanta that destroyed the contents of the three-bedroom house.

 

According to the Ghana National Fire Service, a fire call was received at 12:51 early in the morning. Firefighters succeeded in bringing the raging fire under control at around 2am and finally extinguished it by 2:33 am.

The unfortunate fire incident claimed the lives of a mother and two children while one person was able to escape unhurt.

 

 

The fire whose cause is yet to be determined rendered the affected family homeless.

ACFO I Henry Fatai Giwah, the Ashanti Regional Fire Commander met with the family to commiserate and encouraged them and assured to unravel the circumstances that led to the fire.
