Kumasi: Ahodwo Residents record two armed robbery cases in 24hrs And crying For protection.

 

Residents of Ahodwo in the Kumasi Metropolis living in fear as they  have recorded two  Armed robbery case within 24 hours with a Chinese man sustaining severe gun injuries in the first operation.

The second robbery operation according to the residents  saw a student losing  5000 Ghana cedis to two suspects who were on a motor bike.

Narrating the ordeal with Akoma fm News reporter Maameyaa sarpong Kumakamah,  resident in the  area (name withheld) who  witnessed the incident said the victim was attacked by the robbers after cashing money from fidelity bank in the area.

“The man walked straight from the bank to  cash money from my sister who’s a mobile money vendor then the robbers came from no where to snatch the money  he had brought from the bank.

“We are not safe here, this is the second time we have witness two armed robbery cases at this same area which is not good for us residents living here”

We are pleading to the Ghana police service and the entire security fraternity to come to our aid because we are not safe here.
