Darlington Kwasi Agyekum, known in the showbiz and entertainment industry as Dr. Crymem is a Ghanaian rapper, musician, and the CEO of Twipop Recordz.

He was born in Tema, Ghana, and took an interest in music in his early school days. He is a product of the Datus School and ASUTECH in Cape Coast, Sotech in Somanya as well as the Ghana Institute of Journalism.

D Cryme became popular participating in a rap competition , “Kasahare Level” alongside Sarkodie, Stay Jay, and many other rappers. He was noticed by the Ejams record label to sign him in 2010 in 2010 which led him to release his first hit single “Kill me shy” which later won the Hiplife song of the year” at the Ghana Music Awards. He was also nominated for the “Song Writer of the year”, “Most Popular Song of the Year”, and “Hiplife/Hip Hop Artiste of the Year” categories.

In 2011, he was a presenter for 4 syte TV as well as the host of ‘Top 10 Videos’ on eTV Ghana.

He released “Finally Finally” his debut album in 2012.

In 2018, He released another album called “Showtime” wh9ch included the hit song “Koko Sakora” featuring Sarkodie.

D Cryme was the brand ambassador for Samsung Ghana as well as a member of the UN Volunteers Day Chokor pegged to the Copenhagen conference.
