Latest development coming from Jubilee House with regards to the ministerial appointments by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo says some of the ministerial nominees have rejected the offer to serve in the administration, citing various reasons, including focusing on their parliamentary contests.

This comes as President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo plans a major cabinet reshuffle to strengthen his party’s position ahead of the upcoming December elections.

According to Jubilee House sources, some of the nominees after meeting the president with high anticipation, politely told him that they cannot take on the offer to the disappointment of the appointing authority.

Some of them though interested in serving in the government, the portfolios being offered to them are not exciting leading to the outright rejection.
