NDC Holds Vigil To Celebrate The Life Of Late Former Minister of Health

As the family of the late former Minister of Health, Sherry Hanny Ayittey prepares to lay her to eternal rest, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has held a special vigil to celebrate their compatriot.

The wake was held on Friday night, November 3, 2023.

Madam Sherry Ayittey passed on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at age 75.

Family sources say she will be buried on November 10.

Until her death, Sherry Ayittey was a National Vice Chairperson of the party.

As a former stalwart of the NDC, she held other ministerial portfolios such as Fisheries & Aquaculture as well as Environment, Science & Technology.

In a video sighted on YouTube, the flagbearer of the NDC for the 2024 election, John Dramani Mahama eulogised his late colleague.
