NIA Officials Issuing GhanaCard To NPP Fanatics Using Branch Data Of The Party- Bright Botchway Alleges

The Central Regional Deputy Youth Organizer for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Bright Botchway has alleged that the ongoing GhanaCard issuance to those who have registered is part of the grand scheme by the incumbent to rig the forthcoming 2024 elections.

According to him, the NIA officers are on foul play sidelining most people believed to be NDC members but very easy for the members of the NPP to acquire the card easily without rancour.

Mr Botchway who is aspiring to become the next Central regional youth Organizer, disclosed that the officers issuing the GhanaCard intentionally delay those they suspect to be NDC members but rather issue the Cards to people on the elephant side.

“NIA officers are issuing GhanaCard to the NPP members using the party’s database at the Beaches” he added

These unfolding irregularities, Mr Botchway Said , is a concrete proof that the NPP intends to use the acquisition of the GhanaCard as one of its foul means to manipulate and rig the 2024 Polls..

“I observed that in some villages the NIA officers deliberately use tricks to frustrate members of the NDC from acquiring the GhanaCard”

Such move will surely disenfranchise alot of grassroots voters who constitute the bulk of the support Base of the NDC” he lamented

He appealed to the rank and file of the umbrella fraternity especially the party executives in the various Constituencies to keep an eagle eye on the NIA officers to avert any plot by the NPP who are in bed with the NIA to aid the rigging agenda of the ruling government.
